Freestyle Swimming (Crawl Stroke)

1. Leg movements
Move your foot up and down alternately (like the person who was walking), but between the legs and thighs

with a straight or bent knee should not be. This movement is done continuously.
Note:
During this movement, leg and thigh should always be a straight position. Should not be bent knee. So instead of moving the knee / leg, but a groin / hip
2. Hand movements
a. The starting position, arms straight above your head (palms rather close together, but do not have to stick)
b. Then pull the left hand down, continue to be drawn up to the rear.
c. Then lift your left hand out of the water surface and swing your left hand as far as possible in the future (when the hand above the water, elbow slightly bent left hand near the ear. Then straightened back and swung as far as possible to the front entrance to the water surface).
d. At the time of the left hand was lifted out of the water surface, immediately move your right hand and pull it down to the rear together with the movement of your left hand on the step b-.
e. Then lift your right hand out of the water surface and swing your right hand as far as possible in the future (when the hand above the water, right elbow slightly bent at the ear. Then straightened back and swung as far as possible to the front entrance to the water surface)-the same with left hand movements in c-step.
Repeat steps b - e above
So the sequence of hand movements freestyle:
Initial position hands straight forward
- Pull the left hand pedal down to the rear
- After the left hand finished pedaling up to the back, lift your left hand onto the surface of the water and swing your left hand as far as possible in the future
- Pull the right hand pedal down to the rear
- After completion pedaling right hand to the back, raise your hand to the upper surface of the water and swing your right hand as far as possible in the future
- And so on
Notice
Moves left and right hand alternately. When the left hand finished and started pedaling lifted out of the water, right hand straight into the water and paddling backwards, and so on.
3. Movement of a combination of hand, foot & take a breather
Feet constantly moving as in point 1 above.
Intake of breath is done when his left hand was swung forward to get back into the water, while the right hand will rise to the surface of the water. At that point, move the head to the right to take a breath.
Likewise, if you prefer to breathe to the left, which is done when the right hand is swung forward to get back into the water and left hand will rise to the surface of the water.
When taking a breather, do not be appointed to head up, but only turned to the right side (or perhaps also to the left ... pick the one you think is more comfortable)
Tips:
1) The feet keep moving (no stop), even when you're taking a breather.
2) The right hand and left alternately move on (without a pause / break).
3) Position your palms slightly facing out when it will touch the surface of the water. So as if the tip of your thumb that touches the surface of the water first.
4) When the head is turned to the right (or left) to take a breath, then quickly move back to head straight into the water. Do not wait for the movement of the right hand (left hand) is completed.
5) In order for this free-style movements get faster and more stable, taking breath after 2-3 sets of hand movements. So do not ever take a breath right hand movement.
